Tecnóloga Social para el Turismo Regenerativo e Interseccional. Antropóloga especializada en activismo alimentario y bienestar comunitario desde el feminismo interseccional y la regeneración social.
Soy graduada en Antropología Social y Evolución Humana (Universitat Rovira i Virgili y Universitat Oberta de Catalunya), en Turismo y en Historia (URJC). He estudiado y disfrutado realizando tres Másteres Universitarios: en Estudios Feministas e Intervención para la Igualdad (Universidad de Valladolid), en Turismo Sostenible y TIC (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya) y en Dirección y Gestión de Proyectos Culturales (Universidad Rey Juan Carlos). Doctora en Turismo por la Universidad de Alicante, Universidad de Málaga, Universidad de Sevilla y URJC (con Premio Extraordinario de Doctorado y mención internacional) y Doctora en Geografía (Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne).
Actualmente soy Profesora Titular en la URJC y pertenezco al grupo de investigacion OPENINNOVA (URJC). Soy creadora del Regenerative and Inclusive Tourism LAB (RIT-LAB), una iniciativa que promueve la diversidad, equidad e inclusión en la educación e investigación turística. A nivel internacional colaboro como investigadora asociada en el Équipe Interdisciplinaire de Recherches sur le Tourisme de la Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.También soy Visiting Associate Professor en la Edinburgh Napier University. Además, he compartido mi experiencia y conocimientos internacionalmente en conferencias y cursos en instituciones de prestigio como Torrens University, TU Dublín, Henley Business School, Technological University of the Shannon, entre otras.
Con respecto a mi labor investigadora, cuento con un sexenio de investigación reconocido por ANECA y una trayectoria internacional con más de 30 publicaciones científicas en revistas de alto impacto sobre turismo, regeneración, interseccionalidad, tecnología y turismo gastronómico. Mi investigación ha sido reconocida con el Emerald Literati Award (2024) como coautora del artículo titulado 'The way we live, the way we travel: Generation Z and sustainable consumption in food tourism experiences' y actualmente formo parte de los equipos editoriales de revistas internacionales de referencia como Tourism Management Perspectives y European Journal of Tourism Research. He participado como co-editora de los siguientes Special Issues:- "Food Tourism Events for Social Sustainability" - Tourism Management Perspectives (2025)

Anthropologist specialised in food activism and community wellbeing through the lenses of intersectional feminism and social regeneration.I hold degrees in Social Anthropology and Human Evolution (Universitat Rovira i Virgili and Universitat Oberta de Catalunya), Tourism and History (URJC). Master's degrees: in Feminist Studies and Equality Intervention (University of Valladolid), in Sustainable Tourism and ICT (Open University of Catalonia) and in Cultural Project Management and Direction (King Juan Carlos University). I completed a a PhD in Tourism, awarded jointly by the University of Alicante, the University of Málaga, the University of Seville and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (awarded with Extraordinary Doctoral Award, Summa Cum Laude distinction and international mention) and a PhD in Geography from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Feminist Studies and Intervention for Equality at the University of Valladolid.I am currently a Tenured Associate Professor at URJC and a member of the OPENINNOVA Research Group. I am also the founder of the Regenerative and Inclusive Tourism LAB (RIT-LAB), an initiative focused on promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in tourism education and research. Internationally, I collaborate as an associated researcher with the Équipe Interdisciplinaire de Recherches sur le Tourisme (Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne) and serve as a Edinburgh Napier University Visiting Associate Professor. In addition, I have shared my expertise internationally through conferences and teaching activities at institutions such as Torrens University Australia, Technological University Dublin, Henley Business School, and Technological University of the Shannon, among others.
Regarding my research activity, I hold a recognised six-year research assessment awarded by ANECA and have developed an international research trajectory with more than 30 scientific publications in high-impact journals. My work focuses on tourism, regeneration, intersectionality, technology and food tourism. My research has been recognised with the Emerald Literati Award (2024) as co-author of the article 'The way we live, the way we travel: Generation Z and sustainable consumption in food tourism experiences'. I currently serve on the editorial teams of leading international journals such as Tourism Management Perspectives and European Journal of Tourism Research. Served as co-editor of two internationally peer-reviewed Special Issues:- "Food Tourism Events for Social Sustainability" - Tourism Management Perspectives (2025)
