Ismael Gómez-Talal is an Assistant Professor, researcher, and data scientist specializing in artificial intelligence, machine learning, explainable AI, and data-driven decision-making. He holds two PhDs from Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC): a PhD in Information and Communications Technologies and a PhD in Tourism, both awarded Cum Laude. He also holds a Master's Degree in Information Systems Engineering from URJC, a Master's Degree in Telecommunication Technologies Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, a Master's Degree in Internet of Things from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, a Bachelor's Degree in Telematics Engineering from URJC, and a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunication Technologies Engineering from URJC. His research focuses on interpretable machine learning, predictive modeling, hospitality and gaming analytics, healthcare applications, and intelligent decision-support systems. He has completed international research stays at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, the University of Aveiro, ENS Paris-Saclay, Florida International University, and LMU Munich, among others.
