Bienvenido/a,
Sergio Moldes-Anaya es Profesor Ayudante Doctor del área de Sociología en el Departamento de Ciencias de la Comunicación y Sociología de la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.
Es Doctor en Ciencias Sociales (mención internacional, sobresaliente cum laude). Cuenta con la Suficiencia Investigadora del Programa de Doctorado en Currículum, Profesorado e Instituciones Educativas por la Universidad de Granada, así como con un Máster Interuniversitario en Cultura de Paz, Conflictos, Educación y Derechos Humanos. Está acreditado por ANECA (PEP) en el área de Ciencias Sociales (Sociología).
Es miembro del Grupo de Investigación de Alto Rendimiento en Metodología de la Investigación Social Aplicada y del Grupo de Innovación Docente en Sociología de la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. Asimismo, forma parte del Programa de Doctorado en Ciencias de la Comunicación, en la línea de investigación en Sociología, de la misma universidad.
Investigador Asociado de la Cátedra para la Sostenibilidad y la Integración Regional y Profesor Visitante en el Departamento de Geografía y Planificación Espacial de la Universidad de Luxemburgo, donde ha impartido docencia en diversos cursos de posgrado del Máster en Gobernanza Europea y en el programa de doctorado de la Escuela de Doctorado en Ciencias Sociales. Colabora igualmente con el área estratégica Migration and Inclusive Societies (MIS Consortium) de dicha universidad.
Es miembro del Consortium for Comparative Research on Regional Integration and Social Cohesion Social Elevation (RISC-RISE) y coordinador del Grupo de Trabajo en Política Comparada de Fronteras y Migraciones de la Universidad de Johannesburgo (Sudáfrica). Además, es miembro académico honorario de la Humanitarian and Development Research Initiative de la Universidad de Western Sydney (Australia).
Ha sido Investigador Visitante en el Centro de Estudios Comunitarios (CEC) de la Universidad Central Marta Abreu de Las Villas (Cuba). Es Investigador Asociado del grupo Problemas Sociales en Andalucía del Departamento de Sociología de la Universidad de Granada, colaborador externo del Máster en Problemas Sociales: Dirección y Gestión de Programas Sociales y del Instituto de la Paz y los Conflictos de dicha universidad, donde fue Contratado de Investigación Postdoctoral del Plan Estatal (Ministerio de Universidades). Asimismo, ha sido Personal Docente e Investigador en la Universidad de Granada y en la Universidad de Málaga.

Welcome,
Sergio Moldes-Anaya is an Assistant Professor (Profesor Ayudante Doctor) in the field of Sociology in the Department of Communication Sciences and Sociology at Rey Juan Carlos University.
He holds a PhD in Social Sciences (International Mention, summa cum laude distinction). He also holds the Research Sufficiency Diploma from the Doctoral Program in Curriculum, Teaching Staff, and Educational Institutions at the University of Granada, as well as an Inter-University Master Degree in Culture of Peace, Conflict, Education, and Human Rights.He is accredited by ANECA (PEP) in the field of Social Sciences (Sociology).
He is a member of the High Performance Research Group in Applied Social Research Methodology and the Teaching Innovation Group in Sociology at Rey Juan Carlos University. He is also part of the Doctoral Program in Communication Sciences, within the Sociology research line, at the same university. Associate Researcher at the Chair for Sustainability and Regional Integration and a Visiting Professor in the Department of Geography and Spatial Planning at the University of Luxembourg, where he has taught in various postgraduate courses within the Master in European Governance and in the doctoral program of the Doctoral School in Social Sciences. He also collaborates with the strategic area Migration and Inclusive Societies (MIS Consortium) at that university.
He is a member of the Consortium for Comparative Research on Regional Integration and Social Cohesion Social Elevation (RISC-RISE) and coordinator of the Working Group on Comparative Border and Migration Policy at the University of Johannesburg (South Africa). In addition, he is an Honorary Academic Member of the Humanitarian and Development Research Initiative at Western Sydney University (Australia).
He has been Visiting Researcher at the Center for Community Studies (CEC) at the Central University Marta Abreu of Las Villas (Cuba). He is an Associate Researcher in the Social Problems in Andalusia group in the Department of Sociology at the University of Granada, an external collaborator in the Master in Social Problems: Direction and Management of Social Programs, and in the Institute of Peace and Conflict at the same university, where he held a Postdoctoral Research Position funded by the State Plan (Ministry of Universities). He has also worked as teaching and research staff at the University of Granada and the University of Málaga.
