Óscar Ciordia received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Telecommunication Engineering in 1992 from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicaciones de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain.
Since 2021, he has been an Associated Teacher with the Department of Signal Theory and Communications, Rey Juan Carlos University, Fuenlabrada, Spain.
Since 1993 has been working in the high-tech industry firstly as an electronic engineer and then as an engineering manager with companies like Hewlett-Packard, Ficosa and TRW. Currently is the marketing and sales director or KDPOF who develops PHY ICs for high speed optical communications.
