He obtained his BSc in Physics from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and his MSc in Theoretical Physics from the Autonomous University of Madrid. He was awarded a PhD in Astrophysics from UAM, graduating cum laude and receiving both the Extraordinary PhD Award and the International Doctorate distinction.
He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Applied Physics Area at Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC). His research interests lie primarily in computational astrophysics and include cosmological hydrodynamical and N-body simulations, machine learning, chaos theory, and complex systems.
He has extensive expertise in large-scale scientific data processing and high-performance computing (HPC). He is also involved in the international NIKA2 SZ Large Program (LPSZ) and The Three Hundred Project.
