I'm a full professor for sofware engineering with more than 20 years of experience teaching in two Spanish universities. My main research lines concern with: software architecture and architectural knowledge, product line engineering and dynamic variability, technical debt, software sustainability, Industry 4.0, and LLMs applied to software engineering challenges. 

I've performed more than 12 Erasmus visits and several research stays in The Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, Sweden, Brasil, Chile, and Colombia.I was visiting professor in Chalmers University of Technology (Jan-Apr, 2019) teaching a Master course on Advanced Software Architectures. In addition to my current position in Spain, I'm adjunct professor at Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT, Finland) since November 2022.

More than the 80% of my collaborators are from foreign countries so I love visiting places and universities to learn from different cultures and teaching systems.
