Vera Gelashvili is an Associate Professor of the Business Economics Department at Rey Juan Carlos University. She was graduated in Economics and Business Administration and she was doctorate with honours at Complutense University of Madrid (June 2017). Previously she has complete Master of Research in Business Management, Marketing and Accounting in Business Administration Faculty, Complutense University of Madrid.
Most of her research stays have been in Germany (University of Cologne), Portugal (University of Algarve, ISCAC Coimbra Business School), Ecuador (ESPE-Quito 2019, 2023), Spain (University of Castilla - La Mancha), USA (University of Nevada, Reno), Ireland (Trinity College of Dublin, Dublin). In total more than 2 years of research stays in prestigious centres.
She has participated with exclusive dedication as an external researcher in the "National Research Project on Financial Information and Creditors' Competition INIFCO-UCM" (2015/2017), Complutense University of Madrid. She is also an external researcher with partial dedication of the "National Project of Patterns to Identify Risks of Zombie Companies and Bio-Companies Using Financial Information (2021/2023), Complutense University of Madrid. She is a collaborator of the research groups: "Research Group in Applied Economics (GEA)" - ESPE University of Armed Forces and "The perception of privacy of digital advertising on online platforms and social networks: an approach to young university students" - Rey Juan Carlos University URJC.
