Doctora en Teoría de la Literatura y Literatura Comparada por la Universitat Pompeu Fabra, DEA en "Langues et civilisations étrangères" por la Université de Cergy-Pontoise (París) y graduada en Traducción e Interpretación (francés, portugués, ruso) por la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

Se ha dedicado a la traducción literaria del francés y portugués al español y al catalán y a la docencia de lengua y literatura españolas en secundaria. En relación con su tesis, sus primeras publicaciones se centran en Teoría y Práctica de la traducción, Literatura poscolonial africana francófona y lusófona. Actualmente orienta su investigación hacia el área de Traducción y Memoria Histórica e Historia de la Traducción. 

En el campo de la innovación, forma parte del grupo Turlingua: https://www.turlingua.com/. Durante el curso 2025-2026 ha llevado a cabo el trabajo "El uso de la IA para la creación de contenidos de gramática, comprensión lectora y trabajo textual destinados a una plataforma digital de enseñanza de lengua" como investigadora de la URJC y en colaboración con la empresa Kyoju Apps S.L.

Máster La Fábrica en dirección de proyectos culturales por el Instituto Universitario Ortega-Marañón, organiza eventos culturales y educativos con la Asociación AIA, de la que es vicepresidenta. Dirige TFM de gestión cultural en la Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.

Goretti López Heredia holds a PhD in Literary Theory and Comparative Literature from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, a DEA in "Langues et civilisations étrangères" from the Université de Cergy-Pontoise (Paris), and a degree in Translation and Interpreting (French, Portuguese, Russian) from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

Her professional experience includes literary translation from French and Portuguese into Spanish and Catalan, as well as teaching Spanish language and literature at secondary-school level. Her early research and publications, developed in connection with her doctoral thesis, focused on Translation Theory and Practice and on Francophone and Lusophone African postcolonial literature. Her current research interests lie in the fields of Translation and Memory Studies and the History of Translation.

In the field of educational innovation, she is a member of the Turlingua group: https://www.turlingua.com/. During the 2025¿2026 academic year, she participated as a researcher at URJC in the project ¿The Use of AI for the Creation of Grammar, Reading Comprehension, and Textual Analysis Content for a Digital Language Teaching Platform¿, carried out in collaboration with Kyoju Apps S.L.

She holds a Master La Fábrica in Cultural Management from the Instituto Universitario Ortega-Marañón. She also organizes cultural and educational events with the Artists International Association (AIA), where she serves as Vice-President, and supervises TFM projects in cultural management at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
