Presentación

  • J.M. Sánchez is Graduate (1991) and Doctorate-PhD (1999) in Business and Management by UCM. He has developed her professional career at URJC, where nowadays works as a Reader in Corporate Statistics. He has coordinated business statistics subjects in Business and Management Department, for bachelor and master¿s degrees. He has taught numerous courses about sampling. He is author of books, chapters of books and more of 20 papers in journals. He has realized more of 20 presentations in international and national conferences and congresses. He has taken part in different research projects. He has managed and participated in numerous contracts with firms and administration in public sector. He has participated in the organizing committee in international and national congresses and workshops (ICBS, CBIM). His research priorities are focused in operations management in manufacturing and services, with special attention to servitization of the manufacturing. It is too a research of interest sampling, doing empirical analysis in collaboration with firms and public sector. Dr. Sanchez belongs to interdisciplinary research group in Service Science, Management and Engineering (SSME), integrated by researchers of IT, Economy, Business and Social Sciences, denominated Excellent Group in SSME of URJC, evaluated by ANEP. Dr. Sanchez coordinates statistical analysis. Dr. Sanchez is the Technical Director of C.U.E.S.A. (Universitary Center for Applied Social Studies) from 2004 and participates in the Laboratory for Integral Management of Information (Código: UR0514), infrastructure of PROGRAM III PRICIT (2000-2003) y IV PRICIT (2005-2008) in U.R.J.C. The laboratory is equipped to realizing all type of surveys. He has participated in the design of the Service Science, Management and Engineering degree at URJC. He is Member of the commission for research activities in U.R.J.C. since 2018.
