Juan José Fernández Muñoz holds a PhD in Social Psychology and is a Full Professor in the Area of Methodology of Behavioral Sciences at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. He teaches various courses, including Psychometrics and Test Theory, Fundamentals of Mathematical Psychology, and Research Methods and Techniques in Psychology. He has published over forty articles in various international journals indexed in the Journal Citation Report and has participated in numerous International Conferences. His research areas include structural equation models applied to Health Sciences, the adaptation and validation of psychometric properties of measurement instruments in Psychology, and the application of regression, moderation, and mediation models. He has been a guest professor at Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (Finland), the Escola Superior de Tecnologia da Saúde de Coimbra and the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (Portugal)
