PhD. in Economics; MSc with Honours in Economics and Finance by the University of York and Graduate in Economics and Business Administration by the Complutense University. He is a Senior Lecturer of Applied Economics I, History and Economics Institutions Department at Rey Juan Carlos University, teaching Economics and Finance subjects.He is a researcher at the Centre of Studies ¿Economía de Madrid¿ and he has participated in several investigations concerning public policies like Education, Labour, Growth, Taxes, and so on. He has also worked in the foresight of Spanish Economy indicators by the Centre, which is included in the FUNCAS panel.He has written several research papers on subjects like Financial Economics, International Economics, Educational Policy and Sport Economics in international journals. Related to the scope of Finance, the research has tested hypothesis connected with returns and volatility performance, stability and comparative rankings, providing new methods to increase information and reduce risk. In the field of sports research, the main target was medal prediction by applying economics variables to rankings and volatility knowledge acquired from the research in finance. Jointly with rankings, the economic agent behaviour knowledge enabled him the research in Auctions and Energy Markets, comparing amateur and professional behaviour and performance. Finally, he also researches in issues like Covid and digitalization, or evaluation of the performance of university researchers. In recent years, he has also attended and participated in several international congresses related mainly to the scope of finances.He has two Six-year Research terms (Sexenios) and a six-year Transfer term (Sexenio). Finally, in the training and educational capacity, he currently manages the group of ¿Teaching Innovation in Economics and Finance¿ at Rey Juan Carlos University.
