I am the head of the Bioinspired Systems and Applications research group. In addition, I collaborate with the research team of Dr. Agustín Álvarez Marquina attached to the Center for Biomedical Technology.I lead a national research project with Dr. Cristina Conde (FRAV) based on explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) and belong to the educational innovation network e-Madrid with Dr. Ángel Velázquez Iturbide (LITE).
I work as a reviewer of international conferences and first-level journals such as Neural Computing and Applications, Frontiers in Neuroscience, and International Journal of Neural Systems.
